Always developing and growing our range and our methods, we are now recognised as the UK’s leading dedicated motorhome manufacturer with one motorhome in three sold in the UK being built at our Grimsby manufacturing plant.
Auto-Trail is also proud to offer our motorhomes to the Australian & New Zealand market with a range of modifications that allow them to adapt perfectly to the rigours and extremes of their specific destination. Every Australian Auto-Trail is complied to ALL Australian ADR’s during manufacture inc gas and electrical compliance. All appliances (cooker, AC, Fridge etc) are Australian approved models and warrantied under the Australian Dometic & Thetford Service Repair Network. All Dometic refrigerators used are “Tropically” rated for use in Australia and the superb Truma Aventa Comfort reverse cycle air conditioning system is standard in every motorhome.

Every Auto-trail is built using one of the strongest and most advanced construction methods ever to be incorporated into a Motorhome. Using a bespoke aluminum extrusion rail, this system is not only incredibly strong but it is also highly impervious to water ingress. In essence, this system is so effective every Auto-trail Motorhome is backed by a 10 Year Structural Integrity and Water Ingress Warranty.

Grade 3 classification
Auto-Trail has gone to extraordinary lengths to ensure its motorhomes meet the NCC EN1646-1 thermal insulation and heating grade 3 classification. As a result your motorhome can maintain +20°C even when the outside temperature has fallen to -15°C or rises to a sizzling 40°C. This is the highest standard achievable for motorhomes!
To achieve Grade 3 classification every Auto-Trail comes standard with the following;
• Composite panels incorporating a polystyrene core.
• Industry leading 40mm thick walls and 45mm thick floor and roof.
• Double Glazed Windows.
Superbly efficient insulation = excellent soundproofing!

We are extremely pleased with our Scout. Even on long distance runs ( 3000 km to/ from), the Scout is a pleasure to drive for both my wife and I, particularly on cruise control. The Scout has plenty of power and low fuel consumption. We sleep better in the Scout than at home in our bed. Holidays with our primary school grandchildren at Big 4 parks have been memorable.
